Location: The beach lot is located at the longest white beach of
Marinduque southeast of the island near the village of Poctoy near
Torrijos( s. arrow). The northern boundary is the National road,
southern the sea. A small cemented road ends direct beside the beach
house. Beside the small road are the electricity posts, on the way is
also the own deep well pump house. In Torrijos (4,000 inhabitants) are
the school, high school, church, municipality, and an hospital, all
only some steps away. At the market the dealer offer fresh meat, fish,
vegetables, fruits, and groceries.
How to go there:
Flight: From Manila to Marinduque and back is a flight 3x a week to
the Gasan / Boac airport. Jeepneys are waiting to go to all
destinations.
Ship/Bus: From Manila (Buendia,Taft) all 20 mins start buses direct to
the pier of Lucena. All 2-3 hours, in daytime, a ship start to
Marinduque, Passenger ships and also car ferries.
Car: In Manila begins the southern super highway, passing Lucena. The
trip is 3 hours.
